Reading too slowly is a major obstacle for many high school students. Reading slowly makes it difficult to focus; comprehension suffers, and keeping up with school work is a challenge.

Over the course of this program, the average student doubles his or her reading speed. Students learn a simple speed-reading technique and receive individual guidance from their teacher to identify and achieve their optimal reading speed. As a result, students improve their comprehension and concentration and become fully engaged in their reading. They enjoy reading more, get through their schoolwork more quickly and efficiently, and get better scores on the SAT and ACT tests.
