In this program, students become more skilled, confident and enthusiastic readers. Your child will learn advanced decoding skills, develop strong reading comprehension, and increase fluency and speed. Your child will also become more deeply engaged with books by reading and discussing classic children’s literature. As a result, your son or daughter will be able to read challenging material more easily, complete schoolwork more quickly and enjoy reading more.

This 5-week program includes group instruction, individual attention, engaging instructional materials, and home practice. You will receive an individualized assessment that will help you and your child select books at the right level of difficulty throughout fourth and fifth grade.

There are several program locations and schedules throughout the fall. Customized schedules and make-up classes are also available if you cannot attend all five classes of a program. The program tuition is $299.
